Right now, we are offering our $149 pricing special. This offer is good for grinding stumps up to 40 inches across (measure at the grass line). Also, the more stumps you need removed, the better the pricing on those additional stumps.
Our special $149 rate is to help the customer that has that one annoying stump but doesn’t want to pay a high “minimum price” just to have someone show up. Some companies have a minimum price of $250 or more.

How are stumps measured for removal?

The correct way to measure is WHERE THE STUMP TOUCHES THE GRASS LINE… not where the stump was cut. This is because cut height varies and stump removal involves removing most of the root sytem to make sure the stump doesn’t start sending up shoots again. Grinding usually starts about a foot outside of where you see the stump make contact with the grass line.

What about clean-up?
We pride ourselves on proper clean-up. We have special equipment that can lift most of the mulch up and out of your grass, so you don’t end up with a mess to replace that ugly stump. We will do our best to make it look like we were never even there.
How much is it to haul away the mulch?
Our stump removal system grinds stumps into usable mulch that most customers keep to use around their landscaping. Many customers simply place the mulch in their weekly yard waste disposal can.
For very large stumps, there will probably be a significant amount of mulch. Stump Erasers can haul away mulch for you to the recycling center. Haul-away is an additional service that we can give you a price for if you decide not to use the mulch or dispose of it yourself. Pricing is dependent on how much mulch needs to be taken to the recycling center.

Will my yard be damaged?
We use tracked equipment specifically to protect your lawn. If the ground is too wet, or muddy, we will wait until the ground becomes more firm to do the job. Stump grinding itself will cut about 8 inches under the surface. After the stump is gone, simply remove the mulch, add some topsoil, and you’ll be ready to plant.
